Mar 13, 2019· The major difference in these machines is how you adjust the head to align it parallel to the table. Blanchards have a 3 point column support. The bolts are very easy to get to and pretty simple to adjust. Mattison grinders have a 4 point support and to adjust the head you must go on top of the spindle. I have opinions both ways.
